Raymond E. "Bud" Beane, 72, of 34 W. Main St., Ludlow, died at home on Tuesday (June 2, 2015) surrounded by his loving family.
Born November 27, 1942, in Warren, he was a son of the late William E. and Bernadine J. Luciano Beane. On February 19, 1972, in Sheffield, he married Paula Warham Beane who preceded him in death on August 14, 2005.
Bud had been employed by the former Kane Handle, retiring in May, 2005. He belonged to the Kane Eagles #307 and the VFW Lodge, King David Post #1132.
Surviving are three daughters, Bernadine (Joe) Eckstrom of Ludlow, Joni Lewis of Kane and Lori Osbourne in West Virginia; two sisters, Jenny (Bob) Olsen of Sheffield and Linda Beane in Marienville; two brothers, Mike Beane and Jerry (Bev) Beane both of Kane; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his wife and parents, by a grandson, Dakota Gardner; two brothers, Jim Beane and William "Bink" Beane; and a sister, Rose Reedy.
Friends and family may attend a memorial service 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. with the Rev. David Pflieger officiating.
